Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Handle retail sales transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and processing payments Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by cleaning equipment, counters, and dining areas regularly Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or beverage options, and provide friendly service to enhance their experience Manage food handling responsibilities by preparing light food items or snacks in accordance with food safety guidelines Support the café’s daily operations by managing time effectively during busy periods and ensuring prompt service delivery Uphold food industry standards by following proper beverage preparation techniques and adhering to health regulations Requirements Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus Proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions and cash handling Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash register operations and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods Ability to stand, walk, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods throughout shifts Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable guest experiences!
