Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9 hours (11:30 AM - 9:00 PM) Experience: Minimum 2 years; first-time travelers welcomed License: Active license required Certifications: ARRT - CT and R, BLS Must-Have: - Ability to perform CT and X-Ray - Experience with outpatient (adult & pediatrics) and emergency department Description: Must be able to perform CT and X-Ray. 4x9s schedule, Monday through Thursday. Occasionally, may be asked to float to other facilities. Must be able to start IVs; will be required to start about 8-9 IVs a day. BLS certification required. ARRT certification in CT and Radiography required. PACS and portables experience is required; Siemens experience preferred. Samsung X-Ray experience is preferred. Experiences with infants and pediatrics preferred. X-Ray procedure experience requirements include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, lower and upper extremities. CT procedure experience requirements include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction. ED CT and X-Ray exams must include outpatient CT and X-Ray, cardiac CT (pulmonary vein CT and cardiac calcium scores), and perfusion studies. Daily caseload expected to be around 20 patients. Floating may be required to any nearby facilities as needed. Current driver's license required to verify address. EKG exam compliance is required for all professionals regardless of specialty. Background check with no open cases permitted.
